United States Savings Bonds
At IC Federal Credit Union you can purchase United States Savings Bonds in series EE or series I. United States Savings Bonds are issued by the Treasury Department of the United States Government and are considered long-term investments.
Travelers Checks
We no longer offer Travelers Checks, however we do offer Visa Travel Money Cards and Prepaid MasterCard Currency Cards.
Visa Travel Money Cards and Prepaid MasterCard Currency Cards
We currently sell Visa Travel Money Cards to suit the needs of our traveling Members. You may purchase these cards at any branch location. A fee of $9.95 will be assessed at the time of purchase, and the card requires a minimum load of $250.00. Members may load the card to a maximum of $9,999.99, and may have the card unloaded upon their return. For your convenience, you can check your Visa Travel Money Card balance online at anytime by visiting www.cashpassport.com.
We also offer Prepaid MasterCard Currency Cards. This card is free of charge to Members and is usable anywhere MasterCard is accepted. The card is available in US Dollars, British Pounds, and Euros. The minimum load for this card is $200.00. For your convenience, you can check your Prepaid MasterCard Currency Card balance online at anytime by visiting www.cashpassport.com.
Money Orders/Teller Checks
Money orders are a convenient, safe and economical alternative to personal and bank checks. They are a limited-amount payment instrument that you can purchase for a fee.

Notary Services
A Notary Public is a state official authorized to witness the signing of important documents such as acknowledgements, and administer oaths and affirmations, certify affidavits or depositions, and certain other powers as provided for by law.
IC Federal Credit Union has Notary Publics at all of our Branches. Fee's may apply for non-members.
Certified Checks
A certified check is a check drawn on the Credit Union and written by the customer to the party receiving payment. IC "certifies" that the check is backed with guaranteed funds and will not be returned due to insufficient funds.
The funds needed to cover the certified check are placed in "reserve," so that when the check is presented for payment, funds are guaranteed to be in the account. These funds are held for the certified check only; no other check may be drawn on these funds.
Signature Guarantee
IC offers a signature guarantee, which is an authentication of a signature in the form of a stamp or seal by a bank, a stock exchange member or another acceptable guarantor. Often required when securities are transferred from one party to another.
